Job Description -

SAP CPI Developer

12+ mths in Wall NJ

3 days a week on-site is required.

SAP CPI Integration Suite (IS) developer/analyst with focus on SAP S/4HANA, SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer), and integrating CIS applications with other SAP and 3rd party non-SAP applications. This includes involving in the discussions for technical integration solutions for SAP marketing cloud, Maximo, SEW as well as 3rd party vendor applications and Government Agency systems. Reviewing technical specifications and other deliverables produced by the System Implementation partner, proving review comments, maintaining code-review and document-review checklists, etc. while working closely with other technical, functional, business, PMO and vendor teams. This role drives technical design decisions, reviews, and is accountable for providing optimal solutions while ensuring the solutions meet IT architectural best practice, compliance, security, and business requirements for NJR.

In this position, you will provide your technical expertise in implementing Integrations in a heterogeneous landscape. You will be involved in End-to-End testing coordination with vendors, SIT, UAT, and performance testing. Technical knowledge of working with S/4HANA, SAP CX cloud applications, strong experience working in a service-oriented architecture with interfaces for non-SAP applications, and API Management is required.

Major Responsibilities

    Collaborate with systems implementation partners, business analysts, 3rd party vendors, technical and functional teams and other stakeholders to understand the business requirements and make sure those are documented and implemented properly.

    Review and analyze technical specifications to ensure clarity and completeness.

    Design integration solutions based on business requirements using SAP CPI/Integration Suite.

    Involve in field mapping discussions to ensure they follow the best practices and business requirements are correctly captured in the mapping document.

    Ensure that the solution architecture adheres to best practices and is scalable.

    Review integration flows build and configuration to ensure consistent build practices are followed.

    Review Technical Design Documents, Technical Unit Tests, and End-to-End Testing documents.

    Involve in performance testing and support QA team during performance tests.

    Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the integration meets business requirements and technical specifications.

    Review technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and runbooks.

    Making sure that documentation is updated as the integration landscape evolves, CRs are implemented, defects are fixed.

    Making sure that error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms are implemented properly to ensure reliability and maintainability.

    Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

    Ensure that all integration solutions comply with security standards and data protection regulations.

    Ensure that authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms as implemented that align NJR Cybersecurity guidelines.

    Coordinate with infrastructure teams to provide the required infrastructure to the SI teams.

    This role requires a strong understanding of integration patterns, cloud platforms, and SAP technologies, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

    Experience with SAP CPI Integration Suite. Good working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and API Management.

    Experience working with Java, Java Script, Groovy scripts is a plus.

    Experience in implementing security concepts like Encryption/Decryption, certificate-based authentication, OAuth 2.0 is required.

    Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Integration with other SAP CX products like Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, as well as non-SAP applications.

    Knowledge of EDI is a plus.

    Good working knowledge with most standard adapters (ODATA, SFTP, RFC, IDOC, JDBC, SOAP, REST, JMS, etc.)

    Strong understanding of SAP CPI Integration Suite architecture and design principles.

    Strong knowledge of message mapping concepts

    Strong knowledge of Exception Handling

Qualifications

    5 years+ of SAP CPI Integration Suite including at least 1+ year on SAP S/4HANA and SAP IS with full SDLC experience to implement solutions, including design, build, validation, cutover and support.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as a part of a team.

    Should be able to collaborate with System Integrators and review their work.

    Should be able to conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for new integration projects.

    Strong expertise in designing, developing, and monitoring integration flows by following design principles and industry best practices.

    Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent debugging skils.

    Self-driven and should be able to work without supervision

    Must have ability to properly organize, track and report work periodically
