| Need Locals and Nearby Job Title: Mainframe Developer Location: Cincinnati day 1 onsite Duration: Long Term Primary Skills: COBOL, CICS, DB2, ACH, PEP+. Job Description: Responsible for designing, developing, testing, configuration, contingency planning and technical support of mainframe technology. Manages products lifecycle to assure operational availability; gathers data and analyzes capacity and performance. Fulfill engineering responsibilities in the area of mainframe languages, software change management solutions, development and productivity tools. Primary Responsibilities: o Serve as mainframe Subject Matter Expert (SME). o Participates in infrastructure planning, providing insight into the future of their area(s) of technology. o Maintains thorough understanding of current and future infrastructure. o Responsible for establishing, maintaining, documenting, and publishing the mainframe language and development tools directions and technology roadmaps as well as coordinating cross-departmental projects that involve mainframe application migrations. Demonstrates broad technical knowledge of multiple technologies, or an in-depth knowledge of one technology including its impact on other technologies. Maintains an industry awareness of new developments in their area of expertise; learns and applies new and emerging concepts very quickly. Forms productive networks with internal and external customers, the vendor community and peers in the industry. Ensures proper documentation of complex technical systems to facilitate effective handover to operations. s implementation efforts s the analysis of vendor proposals, evaluates build versus buy, formulates the complete project plan, establishes the critical path, coordinates vendors, builds and conducts tests, and tracks project progress. Qualifications: Technical Degree or related work experience. Requires knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within the mainframe domain as well as strong application design and development skills. Expert knowledge of the Mainframe Operating System and Hardware. Key Responsibilities: Manage and Support PEP+: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Fiserv ACH processing platform, PEP+. Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in CICS, Cobol, and DB2 to ensure the platform runs efficiently and effectively. ACH NACHA File Handling: Handle ACH NACHA files with precision, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Integration Management: Manage and support the integration of third-party sanctions solutions for international ACH transactions. Problem Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the ACH processing platform and integrations. System Enhancements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations. Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with financial industry regulations and standards. Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on the use and management of the ACH processing platform and related integrations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing and supporting ACH processing platforms, specifically Fiserv PEP+. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CICS, Cobol, and DB2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of ACH NACHA file handling, integration with third party sanctions scanning & screening of international ACH transactions (IAT's). Hands on experience managing Fiserv's PEP+ application. Fedline Advantage ACH knowledge Integration Experience: Experience with integrating third-party sanctions solutions.
