| Job Title: - SAP GTS Functional Consultant Client location Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite) Interview Mode: Video Role Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to gather business requirements, analyze current processes, design solutions, and implement best practice business changes using SAP GTS technology. The consultant will play a key role in enhancing our clients global trade processes, ensuring compliance, improving operational efficiencies, and leveraging SAP GTS functionalities to optimize trade-related operations. Key Responsibilities: Client Interaction : Work closely with client stakeholders to understand their global trade requirements, challenges, and business objectives. Requirements Gathering : Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to gather functional requirements and document business processes. Solution Design : Analyze client requirements and design customized SAP GTS solutions to address their business needs. Ensure the solution aligns with industry best practices and SAP GTS capabilities. Implementation & Configuration : Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP GTS, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems. Testing & Training : Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure successful adoption of the new system. Process Optimization : Continuously assess and suggest improvements to existing global trade processes. Implement best practices to ensure efficient customs, trade compliance, and logistics operations. Change Management : Assist clients in managing business change by providing functional expertise, training, and support during the transition to new systems or processes. Ongoing Support : Provide post-implementation support to ensure the solution is operating as expected and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Documentation : Maintain clear and detailed project documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications, and training materials. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience : 5+ years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) with a strong focus on functional consulting. Proven experience in SAP GTS implementation, configuration, and support, with expertise in at least one of the key GTS areas such as Customs Management, Trade Compliance, or Risk Management. Technical Skills : Deep understanding of SAP GTS modules, including SAP GTS configuration and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP WM, SAP LE). Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements. Communication & Analytical Skills : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and translate them into functional SAP GTS solutions. Certifications : SAP GTS certification (preferred).
