Title : C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PLATFORMS & INTEGRATION) Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA-Locals absolutely preferred Duration: 12+ Months Visa: No H1B and CPT MOI: Skype Required: They want to move quickly through the interview process -They are looking for a strong Mid level developer. Probably 5+ years but they are open to JR. people if they are exceptional. -They are doing modern C++ development (c++17 or 14) Candidates must have modern C++ dev experience. They really want the candidates to have ROS2 experience. Candidates will not do much C or Python development. Will likely not do much embedded or RTOS dev, but understanding of such systems and OS is Very helpful. Candidates must have a strong understanding of Multi-Threading and Multi Core development. All the work they do will be this type. They are not particular to automotive industry they are flexible. The first technical screen will come with a live coding challenge so make sure candidates have good strong internet connectivity and be ready to do live side by side coding. First interview will be about 60 minutes. 1. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python: Strong software development skills in these languages are fundamental for developing and integrating software solutions for the vehicle SDK. 2. Software Development for Embedded/Real-Time Systems: Experience with real-time or embedded systems is essential for optimizing performance in next-generation vehicle platforms. 3. Systems Integration Expertise: The ability to integrate multiple software solutions seamlessly is key for unifying the development experience across the stack. 4. Multi-threaded and Multi-core Programming: Knowledge of multi-threading and multi-core software development helps ensure high-performance solutions, particularly in systems with high computational requirements. 5. Experience with Autonomous Systems (ADAS, Robotics, Automation): Familiarity with autonomous systems can be highly beneficial, given the focus on next-generation vehicle technologies. 6. Experience with ROS/ROS2: Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) frameworks is advantageous for prototyping and integrating advanced autonomous functionalities. 7. Debugging and Optimization: Strong skills in debugging and performance optimization are critical for iterative development, ensuring robust and efficient software. 8. Prototyping SDK Development: The ability to develop and integrate core services into prototyping SDKs will be crucial for expanding the modularity, scalability, and performance of the system.
