| Hi, We have an exciting job opportunity for you, please find below the JD. NO H1B and OPT Title: Network engineer with Marine experience Location: San Pedra, CA Duration : Long term Required Skills Establish and document the technical requirements for reporting software including tables, views, report design, unit test plans, and test cases. The project requirements generally described in the following tasks are to be performed by the Consultant. 1. Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS) and Automated Field Reporting (AFR) System oversight of the enhanced CAD, RMS, AFR and Mobile Communications Systems. 2. 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Harbor Department Oversight of the newly implemented 9-1-1 PSAP. 3. Mobile Data System for all LAPP Field Assets - Complete implementation of mobile data system for the LAPP Motor Units and "Reality Video" to facilitate access to Harbor Department/ Port of Los Angeles security cameras from mobile devices and Mobile Data Computer. 4. Selection, standardization, and recommendations for LAPP technology systems - esearch and provide recommendations on the selection and standardization of for LAPP technology systems to include the following: Enhanced Mobile Data Computers, field unit and vessel-locating devices Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular data network capabilities, anti-virus protection, mobile audio/video system, License Plate readers, blue check fingerprint reader integration, electronic evidence, citation, body worn cameras and field interview systems. Replacement of LAPP Voice Radio System Act as LAPP liaison with the Harbor Departments Information Technology Division (ITD), for LAPP and Port Pilot radio-related matters including handheld and mobile radio replacements, Marine VHF radio improvement project, and the Catalina Island repeater study to include recommendations, approval and implementation. POLA Wireless LTE Project- Liaison between LAPP, ITD and the Harbor Departments Executive Directors office to research, develop, and implement an enhanced wireless network for the Harbor Department with integration to existing fiber network. Attend site visits, conferences, and meetings on behalf of or as a representative of the Chief of Police.
