Hands-on experience with network and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, etc. Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP). Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), NAC, DLP. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management, threat modeling, and attack surface reduction. Expertise in cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and the implementation of cloud security controls. Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL. Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network and security tasks.
