We are seeking an SAP Project Systems Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) with at least three (3) years of experience across a variety of ERP products, platforms, and project management activities. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics, with a strong background in complex project management, process discovery, and workshop facilitation within SAP project systems. Preferred Skills SAP and Microsoft Dynamics experience Proficiency in complex project management, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and problem-solving Skilled in leading process discovery and design workshops for SAP portfolio and project management solutions Familiarity with SAP Fiori, specifically within SAP PS and PPM environments Experience in the transportation industry Proficient technical writing skills Key Position Duties The SAP Project Systems Business SME will serve as the main point of contact and expert resource for the SMART Project, focusing on Capital Expenditure Lifecycle and PPM processes within an ERP system implementation. Responsibilities include: Project Leadership and Subject Matter Expertise Act as the primary business contact and SME for the SMART Project, guiding the Capital Expenditure Lifecycle and PPM business processes. Lead project management efforts for the implementation of ERP systems, applications, and processes, including process and systems changes. PPM Subsystem Coordination and Support Provide project leadership and coordination for assigned PPM subsystems, including data management, testing, and communication support. Collaborate with the project team on drafting or revising policies and procedures affected by ERP updates. Strategic Oversight and Reporting Development Deliver strategic oversight on business requirements for reporting, partnering with IT and Master Data teams to develop efficient reporting and analysis solutions. Data Profiling, Cleansing, and Reconciliation Support data profiling and cleansing of Capital Expenditure Lifecycle and PPM master data, as well as transactional data. Facilitate data reconciliations and validations to ensure project objectives are met. Testing and Go-Live Support Participate in all phases of project testing, identifying and documenting any GAPs, risks, and mitigation strategies. Provide cutover and hypercare support post-go-live to ensure a smooth transition and system stability. ERP Workflow Process Development Develop and document workflow processes for ERP system operations, working closely with the system integrator and IT teams to implement advanced workflows. Training and Documentation Development Identify and support training needs, facilitating user onboarding for new functionalities and developing user guides, procedures, and guidelines as needed. System Upgrades and Change Management Ensure that system modifications and upgrades are thoroughly tested before live implementation. Support best practices in change management, system and process documentation, and establishing operational standards for ERP system processes. This role is ideal for a candidate skilled in SAP Project Systems who can perform independently and lead in a collaborative environment, driving the SMART Project toward effective ERP system solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
