This role is critical in ensuring that our technology investments align with our overall business strategy and deliver maximum value. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the financial performance of technology cost centers. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to track technology spend and forecast future expenditures. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for technology departments, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Conduct regular forecasts and variance analyses to ensure accurate financial planning. Work closely with technology leaders to manage budget adherence and optimize resource allocation. Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies within technology operations. Analyze and benchmark technology costs against industry standards to ensure competitiveness. Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to negotiate favorable contracts and manage vendor relationships. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies for technology investments. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes within the technology organization. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a technology finance role within a shared services environment. Proven track record of managing and optimizing technology cost spend. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with financial management software and ERP systems. Strong leadership and team management skills.
