From: Laya, Incom Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Privacy Support Specialist Duties/Responsibilities Provide direct support to the Chief Privacy Officer within the NEA OITM, helping in the execution of privacy-related tasks and ensuring that privacy standards are upheld. Conduct assessments to identify any agency privacy deficiencies across policy, technology, and user support. Develop and implement remediation strategies to address identified gaps and improve privacy practices. Regularly review and update key privacy documents, such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTAs), ensuring they remain current and compliant with agency standards and federal regulations. Draft, review, update and if necessary, submit System of Record Notices (SORN) for publication in the Federal Registry. Mandatory Experience A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in privacy management, data protection, compliance, or related roles. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Relevant privacy certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
