| Senior IT Project Manager Atlanta GA -Hybrid 6+ months Overview:The Senior IT Project Manager plans and coordinates all aspects of IT projects from initiation to delivery. This role includes managing resources, coordinating team efforts, and collaborating with contractors or consultants to ensure timely, quality project completion within budget. Senior-level projects are typically larger and more complex. Supervision:Works independently with responsibility for assigned functions under general supervision. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead IT projects such as network, server, and software implementations, and PC deployments. Coordination: Define project requirements, assess feasibility, and align efforts of IT staff and stakeholders. Execution: Develop project plans, allocate resources, track progress, monitor changes, conduct testing, document processes, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Strategy & Planning: Define scope, goals, and deliverables; communicate expectations; plan timelines and milestones; and track/report progress. Acquisition & Deployment: Estimate resources, draft budgets, and manage staff recruitment as needed. Operational Management: Oversee project development, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, manage dependencies, and provide progress updates. Leadership: Mentor project team members, manage scope changes, and build relationships to ensure project success. Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of project management tools and processes. Strong technical skills in IT systems and problem resolution. Ability to manage complex assignments, train others, and build effective organizational relationships. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or business with 5+ years of relevant experience. A Masters degree is preferred. Licensure: None required.
