From: Kuldeep Sharma, VizonInc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - CPE Network Trouble Shooter 12+ month contract Colorado 4-5 days a week onsite, must relo day 1 of startingMust have LinkedIn with profile photo Must have skills: DOCSIS, ONU, CMTS, DAC, EC, Troubleshooting, Debugging and CPE (Customer Premise Equipment). Troubleshoots and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. Establishes security, connectivity and access parameters. Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure. Tests and tunes security devices and systems. Programs routers and switches. Implements communications technologies (data or voice). Manages network services from planning phase through implementation. Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required. 10 years of experience. Additional Skillsets being sought: Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standards Working knowledge of CMTS platforms including: Casa C100G Arris E6000 Cisco cBR8 RPHY Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs Working knowledge of EPON platforms including: ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210 Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3 Working knowledge of switch platforms including: Cisco NCS/ASR Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX Working knowledge of routing protocols including: OSPF ISIS BGP v4/v6 Multicast Ability to write technical documentation Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans CPE and ONU background in trouble shooting is highly desirable Creative Network Trouble Shooting Skills.
