Communication has to be perfect!! Seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join a large enterprise based in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate can work hybrid flexible based on ongoing audit efforts and has in-depth experience leading IT audits with an understanding of HIPAA. The IT Auditor will work with internal audit, business and IT Management to plan and perform basic to complex internal and enterprise-wide IT, operational and regulatory audits. Duties: Review the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses Verify that IT systems adhere to relevant regulations, legal requirements, and industry standard Set audit objectives and plan internal audit procedures. Interview department employees or compare current procedures to IT department standards Develop action plans to prevent security breaches and improve IT systems Provide recommendations to management, stakeholders, and regulators for areas that need improvement or remediation. Prepare reports that highlight areas for improvement, such as security holes or substandard speeds.
