Job Title: Sr. Storage/Backup Engineer with Strong (NetApp) Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Longterm MUST HAVE: NetApp One of the backup tool: Cohesity (Added advantage) Rubrik NetBackup CommVault Qualifications & Required Skills: 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level, highly available, fault-tolerant storage infrastructure. Strong experience in Backup and Storage technologies 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp Data ONTAP, NetApp NAS, and NetApp Storage Grid, Pure Storage. 5+ years of experience managing Cohesity/Rubrik/NetBackup backup solutions and clusters. 3+ years of experience managing SAN related products like handling Pure Storage, EMC, Hitachi Proficiency in enterprise SAN (Storage Area Network) management, including technologies like Fiber Channel zoning, FCoE (Fiber Channel over Ethernet), and storage controllers through Brocade switches. Working knowledge of virtualization technologies and disaster recovery strategies. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, articulate challenges, and develop and implement solutions. Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data for informed decision-making on infrastructure management. Experience supporting storage infrastructure in both Windows and Linux server environments. Practical knowledge of SSL certificates and managing licenses.
