Position: Sr Project Manager Location: New York, NY (3 days onsite - hybrid) Duration: 6+ months Contract Visa: Only USC/GC/EAD Interview: Video/1 panel round with Team Job Description: Banking and Finance Domain Interview: 1 panel round with Team Must Haves: Bachelors degree; major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in the financial services industry; experience in Risk Management and understanding of regulatory and risk management in the financial services industry. A critical thinker who seeks to understand the business and its control environment. Recent experience in managing projects and/or quality assurance reviews for a banking institution is preferred. Proven project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups and review and provide feedback on execution of required administrative processes as required by Citis Program and Project Management Council (CPMC). Ability to work as a member of a team where success is defined not only on individual performance but also that of the entire team. Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate deadlines and deliverables clearly to senior members of organization Plusses: Jira Data Quality Risk Management Project Management Risk Analytics & Reporting Prior experience in Project Management at Citi is highly desirable PTS (Citi) Day to Day: Provide an independent initial assessment and challenge on project and program artifacts during all project phases Work with project managers to remediate data quality deficiencies within Risk book of work Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including project managers, program managers, portfolio leads, and other members of the Risk Org PMO team Execute against multiple competing priorities simultaneously Support the PM community in identifying upcoming artifacts due, phase changes, risk and issue maintenance, and required training coming due Escalate past due artifacts, phases, risks, issues, and required training Perform monthly entitlements reconciliation to assure the right roles for the right people Perform routine Jira maintenance to track PQA (project quality assurance) findings Assist with thematic analysis and PowerPoint slide creation Governance and project management oversight Be proactive and self-motivated in driving quality and timely reviews/assessments end-to-end. General Notes -Responsible for helping team to pre-project quality assurance -Reviewing project artifacts, best practices, budget, etc. -Will be keeping an open line of communication with other PMs of overdue and due items -Will be helping out with the Data Quality issues and working with the PMs/support team in India to correct the data where needed -Data presentation experience (tables, graphs, charts, etc.) -Top skills: Project Management who knows PTS skills, and Data Quality piece -Will be very involved in tracking PQA's and tracked in Jira (biggest part of day to day responsibilities) -Specific Risk management will be supporting operational risk and should know general risk management experience -Some risk mitigation strategy knowledge is a plus -Open to conversion pending location Intake call notes: Project Management strong experience Former Citi PM with experience using PTS Risk Management Business domain (Enterprise or Ops Risk Mgmt.) Regulatory Risk Analytics & Reporting Jira & Agile huge plus PQA experience - Perform routine Jira maintenance to track PQA (project quality assurance) findings Need strong PPT skills, Strong Excel skills is a given with all my RM roles, though not discussed. 8 to 12 years of relevant experience Data quality experience is a must Risk mitigation helpful Bachelors degree: major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred but look for this as top preference.
