Job Title: Lead Performance Engineer Location: Boston, MA (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Key Responsibilities: Lead Performance Engineer Bachelors degree in computer science or related field required. 5+ years of IT experience with proven expertise in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning) Experience developing simulators in multiple languages, such as Java, PL SQL, Python for simulating performance load. Experience with performance diagnostics/monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics 3+ years Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or custom load generation tools Strong performance analysis skills, including system metrics and thread/heap dump analysis. Broad experience with multiple middleware and data store technologies, such as message queues, relational databases, non-relational databases, caches, stream processing, batch processing Extensive knowledge of Linux operating system, especially process/system monitoring and performance measurement Experience with AWS cloud services are preferred. Experience with CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins and source code control/repository is a plus. Experience automating performance testing through a CI/CD pipeline is nice to have.
