The ideal person must be able to develop and maintain transactional database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects. The candidate must be able to create and update databases based on requirements and must collaborate with other developers to accomplish objectives. The database developer is also responsible for performance analysis, recommendations for improvements and deployments across multiple application environments. Minimum qualifications: Experience with SQL and MSSQL Server is required. Experience with database tools and the ability to work with complex routines are required. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly. Attention to detail, can work independently and a great team player. Familiarity with J2EE application development is a plus.
