MicroStrategy Developer Duties & Responsibilities Advanced experience in BI Reporting design and development Experience in migrating data from Tableau to MicroStrategy As a MicroStrategy Developer, lead BI design and development activities, identify risks and recommend risk mitigation plans Perform MicroStrategy Project design and provide expertise in D2I (MicroStrategy & BICS) development Contribute to the database design through collaboration with BI analysts, Data Analysts and Data Modelers Experience with MicroStrategy version 10 development solutions Develop MicroStrategy Mobile applications for both Android and IOS platforms Building and maintaining MicroStrategy schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables, views) Strong experience with MicroStrategy Dashboard and Report Development Development experience in the (Azure ) cloud environment preferred 10+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools required 3 years of experience with MicroStrategy architecture and project development strong SQL skills required Skills required Understand technical specifications and create report design documents Data/dimension modeling and concepts Data Warehouse design and Star Schema methodology Must have strong SQL and RDBMS (Data model) skills Provide support for all phases of testing such as integration testing, and user acceptance testing Sound understanding of the MicroStrategy reporting tool capabilities Develop Key Dashboards, Reports and Documents Enhance a lot of Mobile Dashboards, Dynamic Dashboards using URL Apis Worked on complex Metrics Creation, Filters, Prompts Develop reporting architecture (attributes, metrics, cubes, etc), reports and dashboards Create and manage all of all D2I (Microstrategy & BICS) objects, including, but not limited to, attributes, facts, metrics, and prompts Ability to build and maintain MicroStrategy application objects (metrics, filters, templates, reports, dashboards) Creating advance report functionalities (level metrics, consolidations, custom groups, free-form SQL reports, pass-through functions) Administration of I-Server Handling project creation and duplication Setting up ODBC connection, DB Instance and configuring it to project Performing Object migration using Object Manager or migration packages Creating and managing the users, Security Groups and Security Roles Manage I-cubes and caches and troubleshooting the issue Provided solutions on Data model, SQL and Reports Performance improvement (Performance Tuning) 10+ years experience with Microstrategy tuning and configuration and development Must have been involved in at least one microstrategy upgrade Experience working in environments that use Tableau /Teradata/ Informatica is strongly preferred Experience implementing various types of reports, dashboards and mobile applications is a must -- Keywords: business intelligence database information technology Washington MicroStrategy Cube Developer Seattle WA [email protected] |
