Job Description - JOB TITLE : Senior Postgres Database Engineer Duration: 6+ Month Location: Hybrid Visa: USC/GC MOI: Skype Experience & skills needed: 8+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration and development. 2+ years of experience with AWS Strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals, including storage engines, query optimization, and performance tuning. Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and other relevant scripting languages. Experience with AWS services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, etc.) and cloud-based database management. Solid understanding of database security best practices and threat modeling. Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PostgreSQL extensions and advanced features. Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Experience with data replication and high availability solutions. Certifications in PostgreSQL or AWS.
