From: Gaurav Nain, sibitalent.com [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title : Cybersecurity Architect Visa : No H1B/OPT/CPT Location : Hybrid in Irvine,CA(Locals preferred) Additional Skills & Qualifications: What Youll Be Doing: As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will lead and develop new or existing enterprise cybersecurity projects. This includes defining requirements, documentation, and communication. You will work directly with customers, business units, and other IT entities to create, document, implement, and manage security controls, policies, procedures, and practices that ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information assets. You will provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the design, installation, operation, service, and maintenance of various multi-user information security systems. Key Projects and Responsibilities: Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Develop and implement architecture and methodology for RBAC across multiple departments. Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams to ensure seamless integration. Risk Mapping and Access Control: Enhance data protection within products and address cloud security challenges. Mitigate risks associated with non-secure design and third-party exposure. Azure Backlog Management: Address and resolve hindrances in projects such as dynamic groups and automated onboarding with access. Key Deliverables: Design and implement group taxonomy and naming conventions. Develop PIM role/resource taxonomy. Conduct app registration cleanup and Azure/On-Prem groups cleanup. Perform service account cleanup and password rotations. Normalize and clean up attributes. Review and clean up service principals and managed identities. Execute DNS cleanup and AD sync. Additional Projects: Support large modernization efforts, data lakehouse initiatives, and the deployment of applications in blue/green environments to achieve zero downtime. Azure Security Architecture: Highly technical Azure Architect with a focus on security in areas such as PIM (Privileged Identity Management), RBAC for EntraID/AzureAD, AD Sync, Azure CLI, ARM, and PowerShell. Understand current and target state architectures to define a strategy for technical direction around security. Architect, design, implement, maintain, and operate information system security controls and countermeasures. Lead the planning, design, documentation, and engineering of security and compliance solutions across the enterprise. Define, develop, document, and implement new security components and integrations. Provide techniques and patterns for securing integration with external vendors or cloud providers. Act as a subject matter expert, measurably improving the overall security framework and program. Lead regular design reviews for requirements implementation. Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience. Qualifications: Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), GIAC (SANS Global Information Assurance Certification), and vendor certifications such as Azure Security Engineer.
