| Title: SAP PP Consultant 8 + years of exp Work location: Chicago IL Work Authorization: - USC/GC EAD/H4EAD Client : US Bank Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant having skills in PP, Discrete, Make-to-order, Heinjunka, materials, Bills of material, routings, production versions, work centers, In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the migration of legacy system data into SAP using the LSMW tool. You will work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure the successful transfer of data and provide functional specifications for the data migration process. Key Responsibilities: LSMW Data Migration: Lead the planning, design, and execution of data migration activities using SAP LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) tool. Analyze legacy system data, define mapping rules, and identify data transformation requirements. Extract data from source systems, clean, transform, and load data into the SAP environment. Develop and execute test scenarios for data loads and validate data accuracy and integrity in SAP. Ensure data migration is executed in alignment with business requirements and project timelines. Functional Specifications: Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements for data migration. Provide detailed functional specifications for data migration templates, mapping, and conversion logic. Document data migration processes, including any custom developments or enhancements. Work closely with the technical team to ensure the LSMW mappings align with SAP system requirements and business needs. Data Validation & Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of data migration scenarios, ensuring data consistency and correctness post-migration. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during the migration process. Preferred Skills: SAP PP, LSMW experience. Knowledge of ABAP or technical understanding for custom developments related to LSMW. Experience with SAP data migration tools like SAP Data Services, SAP LT (Landscape Transformation), or other ETL tools. Strong communication skills to interface with business stakeholders and IT teams. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. SAP certification (preferred but not required). Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience working with SAP PP, LSMW, including full-cycle data migration projects. Proven track record of successfully executing data migration in SAP implementations, upgrades, or conversions.
