Listening and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated, responsible, and cooperative Proficient in Microsoft software, service desk ticket management, and communication tools Skills Preferred: Ability to quickly learn a new system and adapt to change Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies Knowledge of software development, project management, requirement gathering lifecycles Creative thinker and able to provide unbiased reporting (good and bad results) Experience Required: 3 years of experience with the following: Performing software testing Creating test cases Web-based software/application testing Requirement traceability Microsoft Windows PC and web browser testing environment Experience Preferred: 5+ years of software testing experience. Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. (Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis) Education Preferred: Professional training on IT processes including but not limited to business analysis, software development, and project management Certifications are encouraged and welcomed, but not required.
