| From: Santosh, Vyzeinc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Business Architect Consultant Remote My client will only accept candidates with a background in he financial industry a Position Overview: The Lead Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for our client, a regional bank, and will be responsible for developing comprehensive business case models, enhancing business architecture, and driving fintech-related initiatives. This individual must have expertise in activity-based costing, financial modeling, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, solid fintech experience, and the ability to deliver strategic insights. Key Responsibilities: Business Case Modeling: Develop and present detailed business cases for strategic initiatives within the bank. Perform financial analysis, projections, and cost-benefit analysis to support decision-making. Business Architecture: Design and implement business architecture frameworks to optimize operational efficiency and enhance service delivery. Work closely with stakeholders to align business processes and technology infrastructure with strategic objectives. Fintech Integration: Lead the assessment and integration of fintech solutions into existing banking operations. Identify and evaluate emerging fintech trends and technologies that can drive innovation and competitiveness. Activity-Based Costing (ABC): Implement and manage activity-based costing models to accurately allocate costs and improve financial performance. Collaborate with finance teams to provide insights on cost drivers and profitability metrics. Data Analysis & Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, financial modeling, VBA) for complex data analysis, reporting, and decision support. Develop and maintain financial models to track performance and measure the impact of strategic initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals and deliverables. Prepare and deliver presentations to executives and key decision-makers. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on business architecture, fintech, and financial modeling. Proven experience in business case development and activity-based costing. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, VBA). Strong understanding of fintech trends and their application in banking. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Preferred: Experience working within or consulting for regional banks.
