We have an urgent requirement with one of our client Role : Citrix admin location Boston, MA ( Onsite) Job Description : Primary Responsibilities Serves as IT technical expert for new business application initiatives by: Participating in the evaluation, planning, design and implementation of new application initiatives Serving as the expert in implementations and migrations of the latest Citrix and application virtualization technologies; recommending solutions to support and enhance our existing systems Assisting in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for internal development projects Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to improve business processes and productivity Serves As Systems Administrator For Enterprise Applications By Providing on-going support of installed application systems including resolution of application systems incidents, root cause analysis of problems, impact analysis and planning of proposed system upgrades and patches Analysis and development of enhancements to meet changing user requirements Execution of change control procedures to ensure all enhancements, upgrades and patches are thoroughly tested and planned before implementation in the production environment Maintaining all related technical documentation; where applicable, developing and communicating company policies and procedures Maintaining corporate Citrix environment Maintaining corporate VMWare environment with regards to Citrix VMs Managing system requirements within budget Working with business units and internal teams to strengthen existing capabilities Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards Ensuring the application of Enterprise IT policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all services Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. Participating in the modification of related company SOPs Secondary Responsibilities Contributes to team effort by Working with internal staff to resolve issues Exploring new opportunities to add value to the organization and departmental processes Helping others to achieve results Performing other duties as assigned Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training Continuing education in network and/or application engineering Education Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred. Citrix Certification (CCP-N, CCP-V, or CCP-M) preferred. MSCE Certification from Microsoft CCEA CCA Certification is Preferred Experience 8+ years in an Enterprise Applications Analyst, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or equivalent role required. 4+ years as in a primary Citrix administrative role required. Experience working within a Microsoft Active Directory environment required Experience with the following technologies required: Windows 2008, Windows 2012, Windows 2016 Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, DFS, VSS, DNS, etc. To able to perform in 24 x 7 on needed base Hands on experience on VDI management tools like Director Studio VMware vCenter Admin Console AD Citrix Experience working on Citrix deployment and Security & Management along with expertise in Citrix- RES Hands-on knowledge on user administration (performance tuning of Citrix) along with Infrastructure team to coordinate updates and patches Experience on implementation and troubleshooting skills of Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway, Load Balancing) and XenApp/XenDesktop 7.12 to 7.18 suite. Proven ability implementing Best Practices, Optimization, Fine Tuning skills on Citrix Infrastructure (Inclusive of Storefront, DDCs, PVS) Proficient in granular level of monitoring and management skills in identifying potential issues proactively on core Citrix infrastructure Demonstrated ability in technical implementation skills on creation of golden Image (Manual/ Automated Build), vDisk sealing Process (Manual/Automated) General knowledge of Infrastructure, Windows Systems, Networks, Virtualization, Email, Citrix, Office 365, Patching, Firewalls, Storage, Monitoring Tools, Desktop & Server Imaging, Security Tools, and Cabling.
