Job Description and Core job duties - Serve as the primary investigator for technology incidents involving data loss violations end to end, including producing clear, concise investigation summaries, remediation documentation, and utilizing a centralized case management system. Review large Excel reports analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources. Use Excel to analyze data and metrics Provide outreach coordination support to team members Participate and lead data loss prevention status meetings, research incidents, and flagging escalations for follow-up Update data loss prevention status tracker Draft data loss prevention remediation documentation for review by the Risk Operations Manager. Collaborate with stakeholders across functional areas and P&C Provide general support as assigned for the Employee Relations/Risk Operations Team Supports all time zones but 8 to 5 local 3 to 5 years of experience Skills required o Intermediate Excel experience and proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook and Word o Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills o Ability to work with highly sensitive, confidential, and private information of personnel o High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and excellent judgment o Intense focus on quality and details and strong analytical and critical-thinking skills o Prior work experience in HR and/or working with people/sensitive matters; personable and cordial demeanor o Bachelors degree from an accredited university in a related field or equivalent work experience o Strong ability to demonstrate flexibility and maintain focus while managing changing demands and priorities Monitoring violations internally, primarily tech Review system that is on their eco Determining what firm info or client info is in jeopardy If violations occur, then talk to a person and help remediate (deleting info taken from the firm, i.e., PowerPoint deck emailing to personal email). Most of the time, they are willing to because it was an accident Follow up with certification that needs to be signed These convos are with current and former employees This role is for the full incident cycle Additional Notes Will look at the raw data and determine the issue Evaluating what info is, if its a concern, and if we need to act. If yes, flag files, then start talking to the person(s) Employee report investigation did you send to your personal or someone elses, Individuals will have to prepare for the investigation from the template you share Follow-ups if a person isnt responsive Last piece: good notes, document in the system, close it out, data quality Managing inbox, catching up on emails, bi-weekly team calls (updates on cases and escalations) Lots of Excel, but dont need to be advanced.
