Full Time Only ( Transfer also will work here) Job Description: Fundamental understanding of the Power BI platform and experience with Power BI Server and Desktop. Configure and manage Power BI settings and resources, specifically Power BI Service (cloud setup). Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with the vendor to deal with major or minor issues which might block users from using the application. Develop and maintain documentation related to Power BI administration. Has knowledge of Windows Server environment, and how integrate other applications on Windows Servers to Power BI application. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the system is running smoothly. Defines governance approaches and should act as a business and/or technical expertise to attain objectives, including gateway setups, capacity, license planning, optimization, data modeling, etc. Should be able to help with setting up automations using APIs, and CI/CD implementation. Performs a variety of independent analysis and problem resolution assignments related to the application. Has knowledge of other BI tools, and an interest to learn newer techniques and way to administer the application in an efficient manner. Must have good knowledge of how data connections work, and how data is fetched from data sources to Power BI. Should be able to work in a team with multiple administrators without conflict and should have a good attitude to learn and collaborate with internal team members. Exposure to Power BI service (This is Power BI on cloud) Exposure to Microsoft Fabric Administration ( Looks like new name for Power BI Admin with some emphasis on IAM) Knowledge of Azure (If candidate has exposure to Power BI service, this will already be covered).
