Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of experience. This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, including guiding design and documentation of application architecture. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java and Python, with extensive experience in microservices architecture and cloud technologies. You will be instrumental in driving our development initiatives while mentoring junior developers and ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable Java applications within a microservices architecture. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, spending 90% of the time hands-on in development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Document application design, processes, and architecture standards. - Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process in cloud environments (AWS, Openshift, Kubernetes). - Integrate and manage database solutions including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. - Implement message queue systems (e.g., Kafka, Solace) to facilitate communication between microservices. - Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, including generative AI, to enhance application capabilities. Required Skills: - Java, Python - Spring Boot, Spring Framework - Microservices Architecture - AWS, Openshift, Kubernetes - Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB - CI/CD Tools - Kafka, Solace - Excellent communication and leadership abilities Nice to Have: - Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and their application in software development.
