The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing ElasticSearch clusters, implementing robust search solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support scalable, high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain ElasticSearch clusters, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. Implement and optimize Elastic Stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) solutions for search and analytics. Design and execute index management, data pipelines, and query optimization strategies. Monitor and troubleshoot ElasticSearch performance issues, latency, and bottlenecks. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate ElasticSearch with existing infrastructure and applications. Ensure the security, backup, and recovery of ElasticSearch data. Provide expertise in cluster scaling, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operational guides and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience with ElasticSearch and the Elastic Stack. Strong knowledge of ElasticSearch operations, including cluster management, scaling, and performance optimization. Experience with data ingestion and transformation using Logstash, Beats, or similar tools. Proficiency in Kibana for visualizing and analyzing data. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling. Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating ElasticSearch in cloud environments. Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for ElasticSearch (e.g., X-Pack Monitoring). Knowledge of indexing, data mapping, and query DSL (Domain-Specific Language).
