The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API testing, Selenium, Appium, and testing frameworks. This role involves managing a team of QA professionals, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Manage the QA Team: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the QA team, including team mentorship and career development. Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project timelines are met. Develop and Implement QA Strategies: Create comprehensive test plans and strategies for various testing phases, including functional, integration, and regression testing. Establish best practices for API testing and ensure thorough coverage. Technical Expertise: Lead the design and maintenance of automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Appium. Ensure API testing is conducted effectively with the appropriate tools and methods. Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and techniques and implement them to enhance QA capabilities. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality expectations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and new approaches. Quality Assurance and Reporting: Monitor and report on quality metrics and KPIs, ensuring transparency in testing progress and outcomes. Implement and maintain processes for defect tracking and root cause analysis to improve product quality. Framework Development: Architect and oversee the development of test automation frameworks tailored to specific project needs. Ensure that the frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry standards. Required Skills: Proficiency in API Testing with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Expertise in Selenium for web application testing and Appium for mobile application testing. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, both custom-built and established industry tools. Experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of successfully delivering high-quality software. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a Team Lead, Manager, or Architect in a QA or software testing environment. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester). Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
