| Role: Share Point Developer - mostly REMOTE (751604) Location: Richmond, VA (VDH) Duration: 7 Months contract duration 6+ months *local candidates strongly preferred State client Experience Job Description: The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) seeks to digitize and automate current paper-based records to streamline access to information across the agency. VDH is digitizing its paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint. VDH seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency. Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance, adherence to VDH design standards and provide a seamless user experience Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed Understand and apply VDH approved standards and processes Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts Facilitate trainings and education opportunities Other duties as needed 5 years previous experience as a SharePoint and/or Web Developer 3 years UI experience 3 years UX experience 3 years of experience developing custom SharePoint solutions Extensive knowledge using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management Extensive knowledge and experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies (specifically: Power Apps Model Driven, Power Apps Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate Cloud flows, Power BI Desktop & Publishing to Online, Power Query, AI Builder) Skill Required years req Years Used Last Used previous experience as a SharePoint Developer/Architect Required 5 UI experience Required 4 UX experience Required 4 developing custom SharePoint solutions Required 4 Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform Required 3 Creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate Required 5 Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management Required 5 Professional experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies Required 4 Preferred: Required In-depth understanding of SharePoint in a records management, information governance or compliance role ideally with strong Records Management knowhow Highly desired 2 In-depth understanding of the Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and O365 platforms Desired 2 PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate Desired 2 Exam SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Desired 2 Exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration Desired 2 Power Platform Fundamentals Highly desired 2 -- Keywords: artificial intelligence user interface user experience business intelligence information technology microsoft procedural language South Carolina Virginia Mostly REMOTE: - SharePoint Developer with State client Experience [email protected] |
