Job Description - Job Title: Geospatial Database Engineer (Oracle Spatial) Duration : Long Term Location: Austin, TX (Need Local Candidate ) Work Auth. : USC , GC , H4-EAD Mode of Interview : Skype **** Must have LinkedIn *** The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking an experienced Geospatial Database Engineer (Oracle Spatial) to be a key resource on a technical services team. Responsibilities: The Database Developer / Administrator at this level will: Work as part of a Scrum Team Complete user stories, bugs and technical debt Review, update and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository Evaluate user requests for new data elements, new features and provide any necessary technical assistance Perform data modelling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities Assist with required reporting as established by the client Candidates must be local as they will need to be onsite 2 days a week one of those days are Tuesday.
