About the Role The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services has an immediate need for a Medicaid SAS developer with expertise in SAS Enterprise Guide, visual analytics and in the design of data conversion strategy, real-time analytics and reporting solutions for the Care Management (CRMS) and Encounter Processing (EPS) Solutions within the Medicaid Enterprise Solution (MES). Responsibilities include: Identifying data sources and data elements to meet business requirements Creating and supporting automated data extracts and interface processes Creating extract files, reports, analytics dashboards Modifying existing processes to meet business requirements Designing, developing and testing solutions that meet complex business requirements Working with business users to understand requirements Working independently and collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external agencies, CMS, VITA and vendors Working on multiple assignments concurrently and meeting important target dates.
