( Dallas suburbs) They want to hire this person after 6 months. Arlington, TX Need Locals USC/GC Only This nationwide financial services industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity in Arlington, TX for a Senior .NET/Azure Developer. This position requires working onsite 2 days per week. Will be part of a development team that uses Angular, Azure DevOps, C#/.NET, JavaScript, APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes. Should be proficient in Azure related technologies including Service Bus, Vault, Secret, Azure DevOps, etc. Will contribute in all areas of development as a member of an Agile Scrum team. Team members will have areas of strength and some level of specialization, but must be adept at learning tools and languages that enable the team member to participate in all areas of product development. Being adaptable and knowledgeable in multiple domains enables the team members to swarm or fill gaps in order to meet commitments. The manager told that he really need someone with good Azzure, docker and Kubernetes experience. Exceptional communication skills. We have placed 2 people in the past who are still working in the same team this position is at. Below are some notes taken at that time and I am sure manager will be concentrating on the same. Prior Notes: For the SDE roles, they are all part of Project EVolve, which involves GM Financing for EV - Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for your garage. Can also generate power for your house if your power goes out, instead of a generator. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies. SDE III - .NET/Azure Key requirements: 4-6 years of .NET 4+ years of Angular experience including Angular 10+ (Angular 13+ preferred) Docker and Kubernetes experience Will be building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using .NET/C# to build Microservices inside of Docker containers. Pipeline Automation: Azure DevOps (YAML, ARM), Terraform *** Programming languages: C# (NET framework, NET Core) Database: MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL (eg CosmosDB) UI: Angular ** (More focused on this), Javascript, , Nodejs, ( UI is built off Angular) NPM ( Node package Manager) High level knowledge of Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker Responsibilities: Works under limited or no supervisory guidance and consistently delivers on commitments Expected to demonstrate excellence in the software development practices performed by Scrum teams: Developing product features for any or all of the following: data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services. Migrating the product to the public cloud (MS Azure) within the team as appropriate Invests in learning and experimentation to expedite cloud implementations Using automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software packages; continuously improving both the quality and speed of the pipelines Contributing to test automation and participating in peer reviews to increase product quality Maintaining a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues Investing in Agile practice to continuously improve product quality, time to market, and team member happiness Demonstrates software development excellence (software is simple, understandable, reusable, and secure) Troubleshoots complex problems and works across teams to meet commitments Drives adoption of best practices; cultivates innovation and learning Requirements: Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience preferred. 4-6+ years experience in C/.NET software development required (C#/.NET Framework, .NET Core). 4-6+ years experience of Angular development experience, including Angular 10+ (Angular 13+ preferred). Containerization knowledge/experience including Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, etc. Pipeline Automation experience: Azure DevOps (YAML, ARM), Terraform Database experience - MS SQL Server, MongoDB, NoSQL (eg CosmosDB), etc. API Development and Management experience preferred. Service Bus preferred: BusinessWorks (APIs and integration workflows). Scanning preferred - SonarQube, Checkmarx Github experience preferred. Scripting experience preferred - Power, Bash Test Automation experience preferred Specflow, Selenium, Postman, NoSQL. Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with demonstrated success leading improvements (getting better/faster/happier). Strong problem solving skills. Data and query analysis and optimization to deliver scalable, performant products and services. Test data management to drive automated, repeatable, and reliable testing. Proficient in new feature development, automated tests, and the implementation of security controls.
