Job Description: As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and maturity of our IT application and data landscape. Your ability to effectively manage project scope, timelines, and resources will be instrumental in delivering high-quality IT solutions that enable our organization's strategic objectives. Business Process Improvement, Revenue Management, Finance background, Integration AP Development projects, Must have experience in projects working with data lakes, data warehouses, and large-scale data integration projects. 5+ years of proven experience managing IT application development and system integration efforts. Proficiency in managing API development and integration efforts. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. Prior experience preferred with revenue management systems, or related capabilities in the hospitality industry Experience working with Foundry (Contour, Workshop, and/or Contour) a bonus. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Monday.com (strongly preferred)). PMP and Scrum certifications strongly desired., other relevant project management certifications preferred. Job Responsibilities Project Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation. Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Apply Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies as required to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure smooth execution of development efforts. Ensure alignment of IT project initiatives with business objectives, particularly in optimizing revenue management systems. Use expertise in the hospitality industry to anticipate technology needs and provide strategic input to business decisions. Project Execution: Lead and manage IT application development and data project teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage changes to ensure successful project delivery. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of integrations between various systems, including APIs, reservation platforms, data warehouses, and revenue management platforms. Develop testing plans in partnership with project sponsor(s) and subject matter expert(s). Risk Management : Manage project risk, scope, schedule, and cost and change management processes to ensure project objectives are met within set parameters. Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management : Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including business users, IT teams, executives, and vendors. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, timelines, and deliverables. Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, and equipment. Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability of skilled resources throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, technical specifications, and lessons learned. Present project updates and status reports to stakeholders and senior management. Preparing users : Partner with the change management team and subject matter experts to prepare end users by offering training and ensuring business process documentation and communications are developed before go-live.
