Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization and index tuning. Perform regular database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Ensure data security, compliance, and access control. Develop and implement database maintenance plans. Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with development teams to support database design and deployment. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience as a SQL DBA or in a related role. Expertise in SQL Server installation, configuration, and management. Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and database security. Experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies. Knowledge of T-SQL scripting. Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus. Key Skills: Problem-solving and troubleshooting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
