Geospatial Database Engineer Hybrid-2 days onsite Location: Austin, TX- Need local candidates of TX Duration: 12+ months Must Have: Any state agency experience is must and TXDOT any previous transportation, rail road, DMV, and utility experience is preferred! Responsibilities: The Database Developer / Administrator at this level will: Work as part of a Scrum Team Complete user stories, bugs and technical debt Review, update and develop PL/SQL including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository Evaluate user requests for new data elements, new features and provide any necessary technical assistance Perform data modeling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionary ensuring uniformity of definitions and standards Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities They specifically ask for Oracle Spatial experience which we havent seen before but they list this as a requirement.
