Role: SENIOR INTEROPERABILITY SPECIALIST Work Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid) 2 days a week 10+ years Experience Mandatory. Mandatory Qualifications: 1. Three (3) consecutive years within the last ten (10) years in a lead role for planning, developing, implementing, and managing health information and interoperability programs, policies, and procedures for federally regulated health payers. 2. Three (3) consecutive years within the last ten (10) years of experience applying federal health information management or interoperability regulations to IT systems, or equivalent experience verifying IT system compliance with federal regulations through testing and analysis. 3. Two (2) years within the last five (5) years of experience working with the Federal Advance Planning Document (APO) process and the California (CA) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL). 4. One (1) year within the last three (3) years of use and familiarity with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) specifications and Interoperability and Prior Authorization Processes. Desirable Qualifications: 1. Membership or participation in national workgroups for the advancement of health information and interoperability standards.(Provide proof of certification, registration, email confirmation) 2. Four(4) Years Experience with State of California (CA) programs and organizations. 3. Four(4) Years Knowledge of formal State of California policy/guidance regarding the correct handling, use, and exchange of health information, including but not limited to the Statewide Health Information Policy Manual (SHIPM) and the State Health Information Guidance (SHIG). 4. Four(4) Years Experience as a principal author of a Planning or Implementation Advance Planning Document (APO) 5. Four(4) Years Experience with the State of California project controls, such as the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) or California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF). 6. Four(4) Years Experience using workload management and tracking platforms such as Jira and ServiceNow, and content management platforms such as Confluence. 7.
