The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is a hybrid schedule (Onsite-M,W,F, Remote T,TH). This is a 14 month contract with possibility of an extension or a conversion to full time permanent. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years of Exchange Engineering experience. Responsibilities: The Windows Engineer role is responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and support of Windows Server platform and associated foundational technologies. This role is responsible for primarily leading strategy and policy development while having a pulse of operational challenges to drive continual improvement. Windows Server OS hardware and software design and lifecycle management. Providing input to architectural design changes and long-term strategic deployments. Windows Server OS configuration and hardening to meet strict standards and regulations. Active Directory architecture design, migrations, and compliance. Active Directory and Windows Authentication Integration with IAM solutions a plus. Maintain an in-depth awareness of Microsoft technologies, roadmaps, and development activities. Support and configuration of Microsoft Exchange Online Management and configuration of company email security solutions. Cross-functional relationship management. Microsoft Exchange Engineer experience (Online and On prem) - 5+ years Active Directory design and execution due to M&A, Identity Management and Regulatory Compliance requirements - 5+ years Global enterprise scale experience Azure and Cloud environments (Exchange Online, O365, Azure AD, deployed technology in this environment) Experience with the implementation and management of Email security solutions - preferred Knowledge of various security solutions and how they interact with the Microsoft platform (Exp. with email hygiene products, antivirus, SIEM) - preferred Large project management experience and demonstrated understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques - preferred Knowledge of enterprise data center and infrastructure environments - preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with vendors (i.e. hosting providers), offshore resources, and other IT professionals - preferred Experience with IT governance and change management preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 5 years of additional experience in Information Technology accepted in lieu of a degree.
