You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create robust solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise in various technologies will enable you to contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, while also optimizing performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design new products, features, and enhancements for large-scale applications, focusing on user needs and performance. Deploy, configure, and maintain Tableau Server or Tableau Online. Set up Tableau environments from scratch, including network setup and data source connections. Implement data security frameworks, including row-level security and user permissions. Monitor Tableau Server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks. Establish and automate backup and disaster recovery processes for Tableau Server. Manage version control and deployment of Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data sources. Set up and manage schedules for data extracts, subscriptions, and report generation. Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.). Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure Tableau is optimized for reporting. Develop custom Tableau extensions using the Extensions API or JavaScript API. Create and manage Tableau user accounts, roles, and permissions. Provide Tableau training and support to users on dashboard best practices. Implement and enforce data security controls on dashboards and data sources. Use Tableau monitoring tools to track server health and user activity. Optimize server settings for performance, including load balancing and caching. Respond to Tableau server alerts and resolve issues such as crashes or downtime. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, connectivity, or performance issues. Actively engage in Program Increment (PI) and sprint planning sessions to align team goals and deliverables. Ensure robust unit test coverage and validation support to maintain high code quality and reliability. Thoroughly review and comprehend specifications, use cases, and requirements to inform development decisions. Support and enhance continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline workflows. Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring best practices. Investigate and resolve issues effectively, applying critical thinking to maintain application performance. Refactor and optimize existing code to enhance efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. Collaborate with offshore teams to contribute to a culture of cooperation and shared achievement, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment across locations Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelors Degree with at least 8+ years of experience in: Hands on skills on Tableau or a similar visualization tool. 7-8 years of experience in data analytics/data warehouse/data integration through agile environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work seamlessly in an agile cross-functional team, with clients, vendor(s) and other stakeholders. Strong experience in data analysis, profiling, clean-up, data wrangling and validation. Hands-on experience building data quality checks, data transformations and writing SQL queries. Experience working in large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Lake ingestion and extraction projects. Experience working with Jira, Confluence. Demonstrable experience with conceptual, logical and physical data modeling techniques. Good understanding and Hands-on working on data Security Classifications, working with Data Governance, Risk Assessment (TRMIS) and other Control Partners. Knowledge with Solutions Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and structured methodologies including agile, waterfall and iterative. Experience in conducting feasibility analysis, project scoping and providing project work estimates. Able to resolve issues in a timely manner, provide options and recommendations. Soft Skills: Require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build rapport with team members, stakeholders, IT and business partners. Able to demonstrate good expectations handling during high-pressure/tight deadlines. Ability to break problems into well-defined logical and manageable tasks. Expectations Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools relevant Data Migration, Data Mapping and Data Modeling.
