Job description: Experience in risk assessment, ability to identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities Identifying and implementing processes to prioritize recovery of systems Building a sustainable process to validate prioritized applications annually Conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) with application teams to understand the impact of an outage on the business and dependencies required to recover the application Working with application teams to document quality recovery plans and coordinate and perform testing of recovery plans Build a repeatable process to validate and prioritize applications for recovery. Review prioritized applications with business organizations to obtain consensus. Identify recovery point and recovery time objectives and upstream and downstream dependencies and include in recovery plans and systems of record for disaster recovery Deliver quality recovery plans for all the applications in scope Perform or facilitate recovery tests for the applications in scope Develop process to prioritize and validate application recovery on an annual basis Ensure quality disaster recovery plans are documented for applications in scope Testing of recovery plans for applications in scope as per agreed upon timelines Evaluate audit findings and recommend changes in control or policies to address the gaps Conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders and IT personnel for better adoption of BCP/DR controls and gauge the efficacy of existing controls Update knowledgebase and documentation to stay relevant and bring the team up to speed on latest control requirements and associated changes. Maintain documentation of work papers in a central repository and ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation Document findings and explain the rationale and associated risk of finding, follow up for remediation plans and re-test remediated findings Qualifications/ Requirements: Bachelors degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 3+ years of experience in auditing Identity and Access Management, SDLC, Ensure System Security and Application Security Strong background in disaster recovery processes including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), tools for recovery, crisis plan development, etc. Strong experience with IT infrastructure which includes server administration, backup technologies, cloud environments (Azure and AWS) Strong background in security acumen Knowledge of disaster recovery frameworks and deep understanding of ITIL, ISO 270001, COBIT and COSO frameworks Experience with disaster recovery best practices Thorough understanding of conducting assessments and presenting findings to multiple level of leadership Ability work in a time bound manner to meet stringent timelines Certifications: CISA, ISO27001, ITIL Desired/Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of ITGC and controls assessment Familiar with Windows, UNIX, LINUX operating systems Good ITIL knowledge Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills Ability to prepare Dashboards and Reports Experience of working independently & as a team player Should have a proactive work approach and ability to think out of the box I would appreciate if you could reach out on my below mentioned contact coordinates, should the position be of interest to you.
