Strong understanding of compute resource allocation, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Experienced in deploying and managing high-availability and scalable infrastructure solutions. Deep knowledge of Windows Server OS installation, configuration, and administration. Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Power scripting. Experienced with DHCP, DNS, IIS, and file/print services. Understanding of Windows security practices, including patch management, firewall configuration, and user access control. Strong background in TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, and routing. Experienced in configuring and managing switches, routers, and firewalls. Knowledgeable in VPNs, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention. Skilled in analyzing network traffic, diagnosing connectivity issues, and optimizing performance. ITIL Foundation certification preferred. Preferred background in OT environment. Solid understanding of networking and firewall concepts and cybersecurity standards and trends Subject matter expertise in at least one IT discipline (LAN/WAN route/switch, information security, server administration/compute, storage, virtualization, etc.), with skills in multiple additional disciplines (technical depth and breadth), including Operational Technologies (DCS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, etc.).
