This critical role involves driving high-profile projects, ensuring robust monitoring enablement, and integrating observability with metadata and event management systems. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will focus on building and running OpenShift Kubernetes environments, enhancing telemetry capabilities, and supporting the setup of observability in new data centers and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering and production support for OpenShift Kubernetes observability. Design and implement observability solutions using Open Telemetry, integrating upstream and downstream reference data. Develop telemetry enrichment processes with metadata and facilitate integration with alert pipelines and event management systems. Drive monitoring enablement for key projects in hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. Support observability initiatives in new data centres and cloud infrastructures. Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. Must-Have Skills Python: Expertise in scripting, automation, and data handling. Kubernetes: Advanced knowledge of container orchestration and management. OpenShift: Experience with OpenShift Kubernetes clusters and environments. Open Telemetry: Strong understanding of observability and telemetry tools. Qualifications Proven experience in designing and managing observability solutions in cloud and hybrid environments. Strong technical authority in OpenShift Kubernetes environments and related observability systems. Hands-on expertise in metadata enrichment and integrating observability systems with event management pipelines. Familiarity with modern monitoring tools and best practices for ensuring uptime and system health. Work Environment Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite at Woodbridge Township, NJ, and 2 days work-from-home.
