The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data governance solutions that ensure data quality, compliance, and security across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable and efficient solutions using Java and Python to support data governance initiatives. Integrate and customize the Collibra Data Governance platform to manage and improve data quality, metadata, and compliance requirements. Develop and maintain API integrations between Collibra and other enterprise systems for seamless data flow. Collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand and address data governance requirements. Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data governance processes and tools. Ensure proper documentation of all technical solutions, workflows, and processes in line with governance policies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development using Java and Python. 2+ years of experience working with the Collibra Data Governance platform or similar data governance tools. Good knowledge of data management principles, metadata management, data quality, and governance frameworks. Experience with API development and integration. Familiarity with data-related regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data governance. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
