Job Description -Need 2 Profiles Only!!!Business AnalystClient Domain: Non-Profit Org. 6 MonthsRemote but Need candidate local to Chicago, ILSkype Must have experiance with Aptify, Please target senior BA candidates with strong requirement gathering, SDLC, SQL experience.  Need DL, Visa and active LinkedIn with profile picture. 

This role is more of a Lead BA and we believe the biggest challenge will be Aptify. 
Aptify is our Associate Management Software platform. We have an older version of this, Aptify 6.1, and the current employee is kind of a master with it. I am not sure if we will get lucky on this, but someone with Aptify experience would be AMAZING. Not a requirement but would like to try and find someone with it! 

Experience & Skills: 
4 or more years experience in gathering and writing detailed business/functional requirements and test scenarios based upon business needs.
Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server preferred), SQL coding, BI/Reporting Tools
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of data structures, databases (SQL Server preferred), and SQL coding.
Familiarity with web technologies and common data structures.
Ability to work well and communicate with staff at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Additional Identifying Experience & Skills to set you apart:
1-3 years experience with Aptify OR other best-in-class Associate Management Software platforms.
1-3 years experience in the insurance industry particularly in working with agency/agent tools
Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft DevOPS or Jira
Some application development experience
Exposure to a formal Project Management methodology
Experience working with SharePoint 2013 or later, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure and Power BI
Related experience in working with healthcare professional membership associations.
Experience in a projectized organizational structure.

Education/Certifications/Licenses: 
Bachelors degree in computer science/information technology discipline or other applicable education, or related work experience.
ScrumMaster certification is a plus, but not required

Summary: 
The IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in the application development area of the Information Technology Department and works in tandem with the Application Development Team. 
The role will serve as a liaison between IT and our internal stakeholders during the initial phases of development efforts for various business initiatives.
Primary emphasis will be focused on applying structured methodology in the creation of requirements from the business perspective, translated into easily understood formats that are acted upon by the development team within IT. 
Manages short and long-term goals with the plans necessary to accomplish agreed upon goals for areas of responsibility.
Works in tandem with Project Managers and Development in the execution of the project lifecycle including but not limited to analysis, design, implementation, testing, release and maintenance.

Major Duties & Responsibilities: 

IT Business Analysis (60%)
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
Utilize structured methodologies to create clear and concise functional requirements.
Develop process flows for current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
Documentation and Communication:
Produce detailed documentation, including requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
Ensure documentation is free from ambiguity to minimize rework and errors.
Facilitate effective communication between business units and IT.
Testing and Validation:
Develop test plans and scenarios based on functional requirements.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating testing activities and managing defects.
Participate in quality reviews to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Continuous Improvement:
Analyze and improve business processes for better resource utilization and efficiency.
Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies to enhance solutions.

Application Support (30%)
Application Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide application-level support for AANA applications, addressing issues from a user perspective.
Troubleshoot and assess application issues to identify root causes and determine appropriate resolutions.
Utilize knowledge of application functionality to resolve issues within the system or escalate them to the development team when necessary.
Collaborate with the development team by providing detailed issue reports to facilitate efficient resolution.
Vendor Management:
Establish effective relationships with application vendors.
Ensure that data interfaces, security protocols, and application functionalities are operational and effective.
System Enhancements:
Identify opportunities to leverage off-the-shelf software to improve existing processes and reduce the need for customizations.
Evaluate current applications and recommend improvements aligned with the latest technologies and best practices.

Professional Development (10%)
Continuous Learning:
Proactively stay updated with industry trends, business analysis methodologies, and best practices relevant to AANA applications.
Enhance understanding of relevant technologies (e.g., web technologies, data technologies) to effectively communicate with technical teams and contribute to solution design discussions.
Develop and improve skills in requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder communication, and other core business analysis competencies.
Demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new business domains, tools, and technologies independently, fostering continuous personal and professional growth.
