[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Project Manager Location: Richmond, Virginia Duration: 6 Months Plus Client: DOLI ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATE - REMOTE BUT HAS TO BE LOCAL ONLY Majority of role is remote but must be willing to pick up equipment IN PERSON and come ON SITE as requested by mgr Reposting as we rcvd very few candidates that had the specific exp required: To be Considered the candidate MUST have experience with successfully managing Commonwealth of VA category 1,2, or 3 projects. If they do not have this hands-on PM experience within VA State agencies, they are not a fit. Pls pay close attention: This Project Mgr must be PMP certified (no exceptions) AND they must have the hands on experience PM has and have successfully managed a Commonwealth category 1, 2, or 3 projects (REQUIRED) Even if they are not VITA certified (cert is highly desired) they MUST HAVE the hands-on experience listed above. If they don't have the hands on exp managing the Commonwelath category 1,2 or 3 project - pls do not submit them. Duration: Up to 6 mo+ with possibility of extention Core Day to Day Responsibilities: Quickly develop familiarity with the scope and requirements of proposed project and the contract documents. Identify, document, and facilitate new and open critical project business decisions, dependencies, and actions, necessary to successfully implement Microsoft Dynamics. Manage project deliverables and communications with Microsoft and MSI project managers Track and communicate risks throughout the lifecycle of the project. Enter project milestones and financial investments using Planview Enterprise One, the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool. Exp with Planview tool required. Ensure that releases across multiple agile teams are executed and delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Direct project teams, release planning and resource forecasting/capacity planning. Manage approved changes to the project scope and schedule as necessary and in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Project Management Standard. Coordinate and facilitate cadences for project planning, sprint planning, backlog reviews, and retrospectives. Report and escalate path blockers to executive and senior management as needed. Provide routine reporting of project status to various role levels within the organization. PM has successfully managed a Commonwealth category 1, 2, or 3 project (REQUIRED) SKILLS Proven project management institute (PMI) methodologies experience Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience PM has successfully managed a Commonwealth of VA category 1, 2, or 3 projects Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision Familiarization with the Commonwealths Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool, Planview Enterprise One Experience with Commonwealth Project Management (CPM) methodologies in large-scale projects (greater than $5 million and medium to high complexity) Keywords: |
