The purpose is so the IT team in NYC can be less reliant on the engineering team in Aussie. This person is supporting the infrastructure, and not building it! - They outsource the building of networks to an MSP Must Have: Microsoft Server & Exchange Management o Expertise in Microsoft Server and Exchange Online in hybrid environments Networking & Security: o Proficient in Cisco/Palo Alto networking o VPN solutions Virtualization & Systems Management: o Strong knowledge of VMware ITIL must be in CV These titles align with a background in maintaining IT infrastructure, managing complex environments, and certifications in networking, Windows, and systems management. These titles also reflect a combination of support and engineering responsibilities. 100% needs to be ok being hands on and doing the technical investigation does not want someone that tells others what to do, but they do it.
