Role: Project Manager Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Visa: USC or GC Moi: Skype Gaming Experience Job Description: Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new and upgrading existing products. Define scope of effort required to meet project objectives. Deliver technology projects based on predefined process and strategy. Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project. Executes multiple parallel projects, managing dependencies between projects and between product development and customer delivery teams. Manage resources and materials committed to the project. Provide direction and decision making for problem resolution. Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes. Coordinate, approve and track all project related expenses including all hours, materials and services. Assess and manage risk of strategic, technical, financial, and/or business factors facing the project. Coordinate across all corporate departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality deliverables to the project. Coordinate all project matters and monitor on a daily basis; assign/delegate tasks as appropriate. Report progress in writing on a weekly basis. Identify internal and external factors jeopardizing the project, escalate issues and recommend solutions to senior management. Analyze, review, forecast and report project spending. Coordinate post project reviews with a view to improve future projects performance. This role manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Education: Bachelors degree (preferably in Management, Business, Engineering or Information Technology) Experience: 7 years experience, with at least 5 years of project management experience with demonstrated success delivering systems including experience managing schedules, budgets, and scope. Experience delivering multiple projects in parallel. External customer &/or Senior Management facing skills; strong written & verbal communication skills Experience of managing multi-functional virtual on/offshore teams Excellent leadership skills and team focus Sound understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2 or PMP)and application development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall / Agile / Iterative /Hybrid development) Ability to assist in defining and implementing process improvements for project management Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Project and MS Office.
