Position: SFDC Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Duration: Long term Contract Job Description: Role name: Technical Architect Role Description: Design end to end technical solutions for Salesforce Field Service, ensuring alignment with business process Extensive experience in FSL, including its data model, configuration and functionality Proficiency in Salesforce declarative development (Process Builder, Flows) and programmatic development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC) Hands-on experience with integration technologies like REST/SOAP APIs and middleware Knowledge of scheduling and optimization Algorithms Expertise in designing scalable and robust Salesforce solutions Familiarity with enterprise architecture framework and principles Experience in multi cloud implementations Incorporate the platform security features into a solution to meet data security requirements Architect a solution for optimal performance, scalability, maintainability, and reuse Recommend the data migration strategy, considerations, and appropriate tools to use Experience in technology transformation, design principles, integration patters, architecture considerations and development guidelines Describe the applicable design considerations and trade-offs when working within the constraints of the platform and data volumes Lead teams in technical projects Good / Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, initiative taking and innovative. Ability to lead Technical discussions during workshops. Be a single point of contact for the Customer, covering technical aspects of the entire solution Experience in B2B/B2C FSL and Channel Experience Competencies: Digital : Salesforce Field Service Lightning Experience (Years): 12 & Above Essential Skills: Minimum 10 + years of overall software development experience, preferably secure, scalable cloud solutions, including more than 8 years of proven SFDC experience. Extensive working experience on the Salesforce FSL platform Experience working with an enterprise level Field Service Management system A thorough understanding of service and field service practices and KPIs Experience with common integration patterns used on the Force.com Platform. Experience in large scale SFDC implementation. Minimum of one Salesforce certification. Familiarity with CI/CD tools. Experience in Salesforce FSL concepts and has experience & knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modeling, data exchange and integrations Experience in Field Service consulting, integration with Service Cloud, task management, workflow management, pricing, and quote process Designing, implementing and deploying Salesforce FSL solutions to a wide variety of clients. Knowledge of the Salesforce.com capabilities (both functional and technical) and integration capabilities. Subject matter expert who has experience implementing Salesforce.com functionality and can act as a knowledgeable liaison with business stakeholders. Ability to uncover business requirements, develop a technical strategy and be able to create and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements. At least 2 full lifecycle implementation experiences in the platform. Experience with both B2C and B2B scenarios will be preferred. Ability to come up with accurate development estimates based on high-level business and/or technical requirements Experience in enabling guided selling processes for channel partners and customers Define conceptual architecture and design for solutions considering architecture best practices, client IT landscape and technology trends.
