Must be local and committed to working on-site 2-3 days per week in downtown Chicago. b. Targeting senior resource with strong experience with .NET Core, C++, AWS Services and recent finance/trading experience. c. Candidates who have previous experience migrating a wire transfer system, specifically to EFT Gold will take first priority. . This is a very senior developer who must have recent experience in the financial domain, specifically working on EFT Gold, GFX, and Finastra Summit. Core technology experience is: .NET Core, C++, C#, and AWS. Job Description: Responsibilities: Within IT Software Engineering and Delivery (ITSED), the Summit Team develops and supports the Bank's Core Banking and Risk Management systems. This is primarily the Summit application and lesser so, Polypaths and Compasspoint. The Bank's new Wires system, EFT Gold, is being added to the Summit teams responsibilities. Currently, the Summit team is working on onboarding the EFT Gold application and integrating it with Summit. This role will be working on coding activities in support of the Banks EFT Gold project and will work collaboratively with other members of the Summit Development team. The EFT Gold project will replace the Banks current wires system, GFX, with a new SaaS-based application called EFT Gold. This will require development using several key technologies such as C#, C++, .Net Core, ASP.net, AWS services among others. This includes using the Banks suite of DevSecOps tooling and processes, integrating with multiple core Banking systems such as Summit via REST APIs while also leveraging automation and robust monitoring solutions. Both security and quality will be paramount, as wires transactions are typically low in volume but high in value.
