Role: Sr. Automation Test Engineer Location: Tampa, FL(Hybrid) - Local to FL | GA Candidates Visa: Only H1B with PPnum Mandatory Job Description: Total IT Experience required 10+ Years Mandatory Skills (Manual Testing Focus) 5+ years of hands-on manual testing experience for enterprise systems. Expertise in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. Test Design: Proficiency in creating test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. Defect Tracking: Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TFS for tracking and reporting issues. Database Testing: Strong SQL skills for verifying backend data integrity and validation. Web and API Testing: Experience testing web applications and APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger. Manual testing of enterprise applications, focusing on complex business functions. Create and execute detailed test cases, ensuring full test coverage for functional and non-functional requirements. Design and prepare test data for various business and technical scenarios. Document and track defects, including clear reproduction steps and resolution status. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are testable and complete. Analyze testing results, validate fixes, and retest where necessary. Provide detailed status updates on testing progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA input for sprint planning and retrospectives. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in documenting test steps, test results, and defect details. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report progress effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good-to-Have Skills (Automation): Automation Frameworks: Experience with TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, or Robot Framework. Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of Java, Python, or JavaScript for script maintenance or enhancement. CI/CD Tools: Exposure to Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps for integrating test scripts into CI/CD pipelines. API Automation: Knowledge of creating and maintaining API test scripts using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. Advanced QA Practices: Familiarity with building reusable automation frameworks and regression test suites.
