They should be looking to break things, find bugs. SOME automation abilities or room for growth here, but they need the QA mindset, not the developer mindset. Some developer-types write tons of tests, but they just focus on the ones that pass Great documentation skills. Shouldnt write sloppy tickets or take shortcuts putting test results in the comment section Follows-up to requests quickly, excellent communication Very productive, ideally can take on a lot of tickets Can use tools to expedite their productivity.
